Bio

Cy Beltran was born and raised on the South Shore of Massachusetts, and has lived in shame from the lack of a Boston accent his whole life. Though this website is wildly out of date, he is currently an Assistant Editor at Marvel Entertainment in New York, NY.

He was formerly a writer for The Beat, The Blog of Comics Culture, where he managed the weekly Marvel Rundown column and wrote sporatic articles about the latest in comic book news. Much of his free time is spent writing, reading, and watching basketball.

As a kid, he dreamed of becoming a librarian for the sole purpose of reading all day. The only thing he asked for on his seventh birthday was a library card. It might've taken more than a few years to realize there was more to being a librarian than just reading...
